Ingredients
Iron citrate (Iron Boost), accelerates greening by delivering iron directly to grass blades for a deeper, richer color.
Slow release nitrogen (Iron Boost 20-0-1 and Texas Green 22-0-2), feeds your lawn steadily over weeks instead of all at once, promoting thick and consistent growth.
Potassium (Texas Green 22-0-2), strengthens grass against heat, drought, and seasonal stress so your lawn holds up when Texas turns up the temperature.
Seaweed extract (Iron Boost), supports root health and helps your lawn absorb more from every application.
Potassium hydroxide (Iron Boost), improves overall plant resilience and helps your lawn bounce back from wear and weather.
How to use
Start with the products in order for best results.
Apply Dandelion Doom first. Drench the leaves of any dandelions, clover, or moss you see. Let it dry completely before moving on.
Spot treat remaining weeds with Weed Warrior. Use it on broadleaf and grassy weeds in mulch beds, along patios, and on sidewalks.
Apply Iron Boost evenly across your entire lawn. Let it dry before walking on it.
Wait 4 to 6 weeks, then apply Texas Green the same way you applied Iron Boost.
Reapply as needed. Use Dandelion Doom every 3 to 4 weeks and Weed Warrior every 2 to 3 weeks for ongoing control.
In what order should I use the Texas Green Lawn Kit products?
Start with Dandelion Doom on lawn weeds, then spot treat with Weed Warrior in beds and along walkways. Once everything dries, apply Iron Boost across your full lawn. After 4 to 6 weeks, finish with Texas Green using the same method.
Will the Texas Green Lawn Kit work on my Bermuda grass?
Yes, the Texas Green Lawn Kit is designed for Bermuda, St. Augustine, Zoysia, and other warm and cool season grasses grown in Texas. Each fertilizer pouch covers up to 5,000 sq ft.
Is Texas Green a lawn fertilizer?
Texas Green (22-0-2) is a liquid lawn fertilizer with slow release nitrogen and potassium. It comes as part of the Texas Green Lawn Kit alongside Iron Boost fertilizer and two weed control products.
How do I adjust the kit for a lawn smaller than 5,000 sq ft?
For lawns 1,000 to 2,000 sq ft, apply half a pouch of Iron Boost and Texas Green per application. For lawns 500 to 1,000 sq ft, apply one quarter of a pouch. Wait one week between partial applications.
Can I use the Texas Green Lawn Kit with my Sunday lawn plan?
The Texas Green Lawn Kit works alongside other Sunday lawn and garden products. Just allow dry time between liquid product applications for the best results.
What weeds does the Texas Green Lawn Kit target?
Dandelion Doom targets dandelions, white clover, and moss in your lawn. Weed Warrior handles broadleaf weeds, grassy weeds, moss, and algae in mulch beds, patios, and along sidewalks.
