Buttons Gardenia

A fragrant, pollinator-friendly shrub that’s great for small gardens

Buttons boasts all the wonderful attributes of larger gardenias—including the prized fragrance—but in a much smaller package. Its glossy green foliage is evergreen, and in the summer it rewards you with bee-friendly snow-white flowers that have a cheerful yellow center.

It makes a welcoming statement by an entryway or a patio where the scent can be fully enjoyed, especially if that placement offers a little shade in the heat of the day.
